Ham and Cheese Breakfast Casserole

Heyy girls i found this delicious BREAKFAST on a website and wanted to share it with you guys..
imma make it myself someday too!

This healthy update of a traditionally rich ham-and-cheese breakfast strata is made lighter primarily by losing a few

egg yolks and using nonfat milk. Gruyère cheese has a delicious, nutty aroma and flavor, which means that with the relatively small amount in this recipe you still get a big impact. To finish the makeover use nutritious, fiber-rich, whole-grain bread instead of white. The results: plenty of flavor, half the calories, and one-third the fat of the original.

  • 4 large eggs
  • 4 large egg whites
  • 1 cup(s) nonfat milk
  • 2 tablespoon(s) Dijon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon(s) minced fresh rosemary
  • 1/4 teaspoon(s) freshly ground pepper
  • 5 cup(s) chopped spinach, wilted (see Tip)
  • 4 cup(s) (about 1/2 pound, 4-6 slices) whole-grain bread, crusts removed if desired, cut into 1-inch cubes
  • 1 cup(s) (5 ounces) diced ham steak
  • 1/2 cup(s) chopped jarred roasted red peppers
  • 3/4 cup(s) shredded Gruyère, or Swiss cheese

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F. Coat a 7-by-11-inch glass baking dish or a 2-quart casserole with cooking spray.
  2. Whisk eggs, egg whites, and milk in a medium bowl. Add mustard, rosemary, and pepper; whisk to combine. Toss spinach, bread, ham, and roasted red peppers in a large bowl. Add the egg mixture and toss well to coat. Transfer to the prepared baking dish and push down to compact. Cover with foil.
  3. Bake until the custard has set, 40 to 45 minutes. Uncover, sprinkle with cheese and continue baking until the pudding is puffed and golden on top, 15 to 20 minutes more. Transfer to a wire rack and cool for 15 to 20 minutes before serving.

Tips & Techniques

Tip: To wilt spinach, rinse thoroughly with cool water. Transfer to a large microwave-safe bowl. Cover with plastic wrap and punch several holes in it. Microwave on High until wilted, 2 to 3 minutes. Squeeze out excess moisture before adding the spinach to the recipe. Make Ahead Tip: Prepare casserole through Step 2; refrigerate overnight

Yummy fooodd.

hey guess what i'm back with a delicious recipe!! here are the pics. well what to do with the apple & how to cut it you can see in my other dessert tutorial.. check here for a how to! but here is this one... the orange.. well you peel the skin off , clean it and make it ready take all the pieces orange off and clean them too then cut all of them the orange AND the apple in half. then throw them in a bowl and if you like you can add a little bit of sugar.. wel voila... hope it tastes good for you! you can add other fruits in the same way too btw i only recommend these two! Yummy Apple recipe Tutorial!

Told you I wouldnt dissapoint you again!!
I know I told you I was sick but I was kidding to make it all up I tought to blog it up and give you the sweet tasting apple recipe.
Its really easy and quick to do yet so yummy!
Hope you'll enjoy!
You will need:
* an apple <3
* a bowl
* apple ''piercing tool'' (the weird thing in my hand)
*sugar
*Canell
* knife
&nd thats it! ^^
Step 1:
Skin the apple and make sure you had every spot.
( watch your hands & NAILS if you are working with an instrument like me )
(didn't named it caus I didnt knew the name , the first person who can tell me the ENGLISH name of i will sponsor for a week with a picture & name @ sidebar!)
Step 2:
Remove the apple's ''heart'' with the special apple ''piercing'' instrument.
(and again sorry for beeing dutch & my crappy english :P )
Tip: be carefull and when the apple is half pierced you should check if the bottom of the apple will be deleted correctly If so you can push it farther if not you should push more to the side of the heart of the apple!
Step 3:
Cut the whole apple vertical into two pieces like seen on my photo.
then you make pieces like mine there by laying 1 piece with the part where the heart was to the table and cut small slices of it or thicker if you like.
When done you put them all in the bowl/container.

Step 4:
1 Apply the canelle on it (CARE FULL) you dont want to eat dust.
2 Then put your hand over the bowl (or anything else wich fit all over)
3 Put the sugar on it just as much as you'd like
4 again put your hand over the bowl and shake it a bit just until its mixed up with the canelle.

Ice Ice Baby

Oh my god I'm eating this now. Its soo delicious. 2 balls strawberry 2 chocolate 1 vanille & 2 on the top of a box of ice with pieces chocolate & chocolate sauce. I feel so incredible fat right now :$
Tell meh. Whats your favorite Ice flavour or brand? My brand is ben & jerry / Hagendas. My taste ... I Love too much ice. Cant choose. If i have to its.... Chocolate or that blue ice wich i dont know a name of....
